07:50 CET – Subida de tipos de interés en Australia

El Banco de la Reserva de Australia ha subido los tipos de interés un 0,25% como se esperaba. En la declaración que le acompaña, reiteró en gran medida sus perspectivas sobre la economía, inflación y empleo del mes pasado. En concreto, señalaron que el riesgo grave de contracción de la economía ha pasado, la inflación es probable que vuelva al objetivo a pesar de fortalecer al AUD, y la tasa de desempleo llegará a su máximo en niveles más bajos que lo esperado.
Para las perspectivas de futuro sobre los tipos de interés han sido más prudentes y no han dejado nada claro que en diciembre se vayan a subir otra vez.
En los mercados, se puede observar como el aussie ha perdido posiciones frente a los majors después de las noticias, ya que los traders esperaban algo más.
