15:15 CET - Reacción del dólar a los datos

El dólar se aprecia frente al euro y la libra tras darse a conocer los datos de empleo en Estados Unidos. Actualmente, observamos un incremento en la aversión al riesgo y por consiguiente una demanda del billete verde como valor de refugio. Caso contrario es lo que sucede con el cruce USD/JPY en donde el greenback cae fuertemente desde los 96.80 hasta los 96.08 yenes por dólar.
Estemos atentos que en estos momentos está dando una conferencia de prensa el presidente del BCE, Jean Claude Trichet. Tras conocer que la entidad monetaria mantiene los tipos de interés sin variaciones, los operadores enfocan su atención en las perspectivas sobre la economía europea.
Hasta el momento, Trichet confirmo que el valor del dinero - actualmente en 1,0% - es el adecuado. Sin embargo, subraya que la economía del viejo continente se mantiene débil.
Con respecto al plan de estímulo realizado por más de 400.000 millones de euros, la máxima autoridad del BCE indica que las subastas realizadas han tenido un efecto positivo en la economía europea y que por el momento no hay una fecha exacta para las próximas ventas. Entre otras cosas, Trichet también afirma que el objetivo del BCE es que el mercado monetario vuelva a funcionar de una manera correcta y que la liquidez a un tipo fijo hace que el mercado vuelva a funcionar.
